About Me

Hello! My name is Lucy Zhang, and I’m 12 years old. I’m excited to introduce myself as a junior tennis coach. I’ve been passionate about tennis for the past three years and enjoy both playing and teaching the game. As a 7th grader at Crews Middle School, I balance school with tennis, which has taught me discipline and focus. Coaching allows me to share my love for the sport while helping others improve their skills and gain confidence. I aim to create a positive and encouraging environment in every lesson, making tennis both fun and rewarding.

I have played over 100 matches, including USTA Level 6 and Level 5 tournaments, as well as team tennis events. Competing at these levels has given me a broad range of experience against different opponents and playing styles. I enjoy the challenge of playing new people and learning from every match. My time on the court has helped me develop strong technical skills, strategic thinking, and good sportsmanship. As a junior coach, I use my playing experience to support players in improving their game and building confidence, always encouraging a love for tennis and a growth mindset.
